1:6. അവർ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഒരാൾ ഞങ്ങളെ എതിരേറ്റുവന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു: നിങ്ങളെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു: യിസ്രായേലിൽ ദൈവം ഇല്ലാഞ്ഞിട്ടോ നീ എക്രോനിലെ ദേവനായ ബാൽസെബൂബിനോടു അരുളപ്പാടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ അയക്കുന്നതു? ഇതുനിമിത്തം നീ കയറിയിരിക്കുന്ന കട്ടിലിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങാതെ നിശ്ചയമായി മരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു അവനോടു പറവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

1:6. They replied, "A man came up to meet us. He told us, "Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, 'This is what the LORD says: "You must think there is no God in Israel! That explains why you are sending for an oracle from Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron. Therefore you will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die."'"

1:6. They replied, "A man came up to us and told us to go back to the king and give him this message. 'This is what the LORD says: Is there no God in Israel? Why are you sending men to Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron, to ask whether you will recover? Therefore, because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on; you will surely die.'"

1:6. And they said unto him, There came up a man to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Is it because there is no God in Israel, that thou sendest to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from the bed whither thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

1:6. And they said to him, "There came a man to meet us, and said to us, 'Go back to the king who sent you, and say to him, Thus says the LORD, Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"

Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone, but shall surely die.'"

And they say unto him, `A man hath come up to meet us, and saith unto us, Go, turn back unto the king who sent you, and ye have said unto him, Thus said Jehovah, Is it because there is not a God in Israel -- thou art sending to inquire of Baal-Zebub god of Ekron? therefore, the bed whither thou hast gone up, thou dost not come down from it, for thou dost certainly die.`

1:6. The messengers said to Ahaziah, "A man came up to meet us and told us to go back to the king who sent us and tell him what the Lord says: 'There is a God in Israel, so why did you send messengers to ask questions of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? Since you did this, you will not get up from your bed. You will die!'"

They said to him, There came up a man to meet us, and said to us, Go, turn again to the king who sent you, and tell him, Thus says Yahweh, Is it because there is no God in Israel, that you send to inquire of Baal Zebub, the god of Ekron? therefore you shall not come down from the bed where you are gone up, but shall surely die.
